At FAKUMA 2026, KEYENCE will present the VHX-X1 Digital Microscope and the VL-800 3D Scanner, two systems designed for the analysis, measurement, and digitization of plastic components. While the VHX-X1 focuses on the inspection of fine surface details, the VL-800 enables complete capture and measurement of complex part geometries.
For the analysis of surfaces, tool marks, flow lines, burrs, and weld lines, the VHX-X1 Digital Microscope combines imaging, measurement, and documentation in a single system. With magnifications ranging from 0.1x to 6000x, high-resolution 4K imaging, and a variety of illumination options, it supports detailed 2D and 3D analyses. Inspection results can be documented directly and integrated into reporting workflows.
For the measurement and digitization of plastic parts and injection molds, the VL-800 3D Scanner provides automated 360° scanning. Scan data can be compared with CAD models to visualize deviations and evaluate complex geometries as well as GD&T characteristics. In addition, STEP data can be exported for further use in design, inspection, and reverse engineering processes.
Together, the two systems demonstrate different approaches to the inspection and digitization of plastic components, ranging from the analysis of individual surface features to the complete capture of complex part geometries.
For further information and a first-hand look at the presented systems, we look forward to welcoming you to our booth B3-3219.
